So our little Colt is no longer my little baby boy. Each day brings new adventures and milestones that confirm he is growing up.
First, there was potty training which began in June and fortunately took only a few days before he would pee in the toilet and about 2 weeks before he would poop in the toilet. We are still working on potty training during the night, but the days are conquered.
Then, it was on to his pacifier which he only used at nap times and at night. This week we had a celebration of Colt officially being a “BIG BOY.” We told him that Big Boys don’t have pacifiers and he needed to throw it away. So, he put it in the trash and later we took him to Chuck E. Cheese’s to celebrate. That night, he said “I’m a Big Boy and I don’t need a pacifier.” We were so proud of him! He has done great.
