Where to begin. First, I hate that I didn’t even have one blog posting in May. Of course my husband Joe noticed. It’s not like we don’t talk, but I know he loves it when I share my thoughts and our experiences for family and friends to see. So here goes with a quick update.

1. My mom and dad came to visit! Yeah! Colt hated to see them leave and the next day he kept asking “Where is granny and pap pap?” Even this morning (a week after they left) he said “Granny and Pap Pap are coming to visit to eat cereal with me.” How cute!

2. Joe graduated with his Associates degree. I am so proud of him. This was such a big accomplishment with us having a kid and me working. Joe took evening classes, some during the day and even had field trips on weekends. Now on to UTD for more!

3. We visited the Dallas Arboretum with our friends Richard and Beth (and their LifeGroup). What a beautiful experience! I can’t believe that I have lived in Dallas for more than 13 years and never took the time to see the incredible flowers and plants. Everyone must go!

4. We found out we are having a girl! After my “Conspiracy Theory” posting, Joe laughed and said I can now shop with freedom knowing that girls clothing is out there for my buying pleasure. But, in case you think I am going on a complete, out-of-control shopping spree, I will let you know that my sister immediately called and let me know she would be sending boxes of clothing from her girls to me (love saving money!).
