Mother’s Day

I recognize that not everyone that reads my blog is a mother, but I thought that I would first honor the mothers and say that God has indeed given each of us both a blessing and responsibility that we will carry throughout our lives. I pray for those that do not have children and have been praying for years for God to answer their prayers. Today Lord, I pray that you will open up the heavens and pour out your blessings on these women/men that they may be fruitful and multiply.

I also wanted to share with you a few prayers that were published in our church bulletin on Mother’s Day. I believe these prayers apply to everyone, but especially to mothers.

Day 1 – Energy (Psalm 28:7, Isaiah 33:2 and 40:31)
God, please fill me with Your strength every morning, so I can accomplish all that is set before me. Please help me to never grow weary of doing good things for ________ (fill in the blank) and for You.
Please help me to never grow weary of doing good things for Joe and Colt and for You.
