In my first post ever, I wrote “I am pregnant with my first child. There is so much on that topic that I really could fill up pages: Will we make good parents? Will my hormones ever be normal again? How will our lives change after the baby?” Over the past couple of years, I have filled up pages that addressed these questions and then prompted additional questions.
With the excitement of a new one on the way, we are now in the process of updating our lives. It is amazing how your lives change with one child, but with two, the changes will be more noticeable.
– I am again going through the daily nausea routine. Last time, I could just lay down when ever I wanted and rest. On Sunday I went to lay on the couch (roaming in and out of consciousness) and Colt came over with one of his toys, wanting to play with mommy. I was half asleep when BANG!, I was hit over the head with a large toy. Note to self: stay awake around Colt.
– We have to get a new car. Right now we have an SUV and a truck. The truck is not an extended cab so we have to get another car. First, we need to finish paying our debt off so we can save a nice down payment.
– Our guest room will now be Colt’s room. But I still want a guest room AND office. I think we figured out how to make this work but we will see.
Pray for grace!
