It is interesting to see Colt growing and trying new things everyday. Joe called me at work the other day and said “Guess what YOUR son did today?” I always know that this statement will be followed by something extraordinary, at least for us.
Colt has now learned how to pull himself up on our fireplace (it is raised about 6-8 inches with brick) by grabbing hold of our magazine rack which is right in front. Joe said he was so proud of his new accomplishment and said “Da, Da, Da” to let him know that he was now “king of the hill” or at least “king of the fireplace.”
It makes me think about God as my parent and what accomplishments I have in my life. Does he applaud me the way we do Colt?
