My husband

I don’t think I write often enough about my wonderful husband. Last year, I wrote a list called “I love you and appreciate you because…” and I listed the Top 25 reasons. I will name a few.

You love me just the way I am.
You listen to me, I mean really listen.
I have never taken out the trash since we have been married.
I have never emptied the dishwasher since we have been married.
You help with the cooking.
You help with washing dishes.
You patiently wait for me to make up my mind.
You help with the laundry.
You attended a baby shower with me (the only man in the room)
You let me cry on your shoulder.
You went to Daddy Boot Camp and liked it.
You never speak badly about me to our friends.

I need to add to the list that he helps clean the house. After a visit from his aunt Carol and after my parents left, I needed to do a little house cleaning but my back had been hurting for a couple of weeks and at times I could barely bend over. So, what did my husband do? He helped clean the house! He vacuumed (which is the hardest job and kills my back) while I cleaned the bathrooms and generally picked up the house.

And to top it all off, last evening, after a LONG week at work, I came home and he had fixed dinner. He had it ready and waiting with candles on the table. I almost cried. He knew what a hard week I had and this was just what I needed. Quality time with my husband.
