I cannot believe that it has been so long since I have had a chance to post some thoughts. If I try to put everything into words, this entry will be pages and pages long, so I will keep it brief for today.

– The job is crazy busy! Since starting on January 3, it has been non-stop. Not only am I in charge of media and analyst relations, but also advertising, web content, collateral, multimedia, messaging and corporate communications. And of course, anything else that my boss throws my way. I seem to be in meetings all day long so I try to get in early so I can start my day cleaning up email and reviewing projects.

– Baby K is sleeping through the night! Except for last night. Of course this week I am really busy at work, even working in the evening when he goes to sleep, and he decides that he wants to wake up at 3:30 am this morning. Praise God for Joe. He got up and pacified him until he went back to sleep (about 45 minutes later).

– Joe is a wonderful dad! He is doing such a great job with our son. Joe has their routine down pat. Bath day, feedings, naps, etc. Many men never get the chance to bond and spend this much time with their sons. Our baby is so lucky.

– Our pastor shared with our congregation that he feels this is the year of Jubilee for our church. In the Bible, every 50 years was the year of Jubilee when slaves were set free, land was restored to the original owner and debts were erased. Joe and I are already seeing this in our lives. We are paying off debts and plan to be free of debt mid-year. God is so good!

– Our women’s ministry is back at church! We are hosting a simulcast for a series that Beth Moore teaches. I know there are going to be many women who are in need of fellowship and healing.

I hope to go into detail on a few of these topics soon. I pray that my next posting will not be weeks away. I miss sharing these updates, reading other friends blogs and meditating on life.
