Yesterday was our third wedding anniversary! We couldn’t believe that it has already been three years. On one hand, it seems like just yesterday that we were planning our wedding, walking down the aisle and going on our honeymoon. On the other hand, it seems like we have been married forever. We are so comfortable with each other, know each other’s thoughts, likes/dislikes. We are each other’s best friend.
It is amazing that in just three short years, we have managed to go through some of the most “stressful” situations (according to most books and counselors). Marriage, buying a house, and having a baby. Would I change any thing? Not a chance!
We have many single friends that would love to be married and I can say that if you are with the person that God has chosen for you, marriage can be wonderful. Not to say that every day will be filled with romance. Marriage is work. But if for whatever reason you settle for someone just so you will not be alone, life/marriage can be miserable.
I thank God for another year of marriage. For a chance to show my husband every day how much I love him and need him.

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe it’s been that long! You guys are truly inspirational in ways that you can’t possibly imagine. I’m so glad that God has allowed us all to remain in each other’s lives regardless of where we now worship!

Happy anniversary. Love your last comment – better to be happily single than to be unhappily married. I think you’ve weathered your “stressors” so well (although you forgot one – job changes!). Aren’t you glad your main “stress” is SO DARN CUTE??
