In my book “What to Expect When you are Expecting” I notice each month the additional things that women may be experiencing when they are pregnant. For example, I am now in my 5th month and this month I can expect backaches, bloating, flatulance, indigestion, pink toothbrush caused by bleeding gums, nosebleeds, swollen extremeties and fatigue, just to name a few. As the months progress, the list gets longer!
Then I read another book that my doctor gave me on what is happening each month as the baby grows. It is fascinating! This month that baby is growing fingernails and hair and that right now, the baby’s skin is transparent so you can see his bones and organs. When I read these things, I just cannot imagine anyone that does not believe that there is a God. To think that when the baby is forming, the intestines grow OUTSIDE the baby’s body until later in the pregnancy when the baby’s abdomen is large enough to hold them and then they go inside. In the book they mention that during this month there are white plugs in the baby’s nose that go away later in the pregnancy. They don’t know what they are there for but they must have a purpose. This made me acknowledge that possibly only God knows the purpose of each stage of growth and how important it is to the baby.
That is why this is still called the “miracle of birth.”
SO cool!!!>>Makes you give more thought to being “fearfully and wonderfully made”!
