It is the most amazing thing in the world to have someone that truly loves you for who you are, despite your shortcoming (read yesterday’s post). My husband is that person. God has truly given him grace and patience in our relationship. When I cry, he tries to understand. When I forget something, he patiently says it is OK.

I am always asking him if there is anything that he would change about me (and I am serious when I ask) and he answers “I wouldn’t change a thing. I love you exactly the way you are.” How can I not love this man!!

There are many people who are still looking for that special person who will love them for who they are on the inside. Don’t sell yourself short! I had my list of what I was looking for in a mate but I thank God that He has someone in mind for me that was so much better. My husband meets needs in me that I never even knew I had. Let go of what you think you want and need and let God decide. He knows so much better than we do.
